I needed to upgrade very old gear and Severne came highly recommended. The gear is simply amazing. From the ease of rigging (the Cyclop with looping system, everything falling into place right away, etc,) to the attention to detail, to the performance in the water (super-light, maneuverable, and yet it keeps the shape as if it were ‘rigid’). Definitely worth the investment! Lastly, the enigma boom is something else altogether. I could compare it to the metal boom and it’s significantly different. Hard to describe it without trying but the response feels almost like an extension of one’s body. It feels flexing with one’s movements. Amazing!
What made the purchase stand out even more was Neil. Very helpful from the beginning in suggesting the right material without pushing any particular solution but really understanding the specific needs. Crucially he has been terrific in helping out with the delivery to Greece which after Brexit has become a bit of a nightmare. And he did so twice! Thanks a lot Neil, really appreciated!
